New Story (again :P)/ Updates on other stories

Hey guys! So, first of all, I've decided not to make this an every day blog because frankly, I can't keep up with that. I'm either too distracted or too lazy to post on this blog even though I made a promise to myself. Second of all, I'm currently experiencing a writer's worst nightmare: WRITER'S BLOCK (insert somber music) 

So yea, writer's block is killing me but thankfully, here's some good news....I'm writing a new story!!! Now, before you say "wait...aren't you writing like 20 new stories?" let me answer that; yes-yes I am. I write every time I get a new idea so I don't forget it. For example, I had this Power Ranger story idea that I loved and I ended up writing about 20 pages worth of chapters, each chapter being like, 5-6 pages long each in size 11 font. But anyways, I just wrote the first few lines of a new story I'm working on, only this one is inspired by someone else 's story. Her name is TheFifthCharmedOne, and she is one of my favorite fan fic writers. I absolutely ADORE her stories, especially this espionage/assassin story, the Petals and Thorns saga. It is absolutely amazing and I scream every time I get a new update on my ipod of a new chapter. Here's a link to the story:

Now, the thing is, although I love this story, there are a few things I would like to change. I especially hate one of the main pairings, which is Pokeshipping. Now I don't want to bash on it because honestly, if the show would allow it, it would probably be canon. But, because it's not, there is still possibility of Egoshipping, which is something I would love to incorporate in this story. The title is still in work but it will definitely include Egoshipping, Contestshipping (of course!), and OC pairings. Now if you've read this fic, you'd know who the main characters are, but of course, like the person I am, I want to change that. I also want to change a whole bunch of other things, but that would take too long. 

Now for the other stories. I am currently working on several different stories, the main ones being Water Lust, Roses and Thorns, and The Lonely Girl Next Door. I am working on another Power Ranger story called The Story Of Us, a Jason/Kat story, which will be posted once I feel like posting it. I've also become addicted to White Collar and Covert Affairs, so expect one-shots from there. I've become addicted to Neal/Sara; like REALLY addicted. Like, addicted enough to look up moments and hot scenes between them and watch them over and over again. No I am not a pedophile or creeper....I just like it. Like mentioned before, I have serious writer's block, so the stories will be updated as soon as possible, although I highly doubt it because I'm working on other stories.

New Story!

Oh my gosh guys! I've started writing this new contestshipping story....it's one that I've the idea of this forever, because of this youtube series I read. It was amazing, but I thought it could use a little touch of me (that sounded really lame). Anyway, the story takes place during the olden times when kings and queens still ruled. So the story is basically about how the evil Lord Onii has kidnapped Prince Drew Hayden, the lone heir to the Hayden family throne, and has sent him to the lowly village of Petalburg. While there, the arrogant prince meets a sweet peasant, Maybelle Maple, a feisty aristocrat, Misty Waterflower, Misty's fiance and wealthy aristocrat Gary Oak, and some other characters including Ash Ketchum, Dawn Hikari, and of course Brianna....that evil girl from the Hoenn region who is Drew's number 1 fan.....

But I'm almost finished with the prologue, and oh my gosh guys! It's one of my best works, I assure you of that. I absolutely love it and I can't wait to share it with you guys....I'll give you a little preview, but before I do, I just want to assure everyone (that one awesome person reading this blog) that I'm still writing my other stories. Right now, I'm caught up in watching White Collar so I haven't been writing for the past few hours; tragic, I know (xD). But I've been working on a few stories I haven't posted, so that when I do, I don't have to worry about rushing to finish chapters. I'm currently working on stories such as:
Water Lust, my first Power Rangers multi-chapter story, all seasons
The Story Of Us- my second PR fic, that encompasses all the seasons, as does Water Lust
That Fateful Night- my Pokemon fic, and my first sole egoshipping fic
Roses And Thorns- my third Harry Potter fic, and the third installment of my second generation trilogy
The Lonely Girl Next Door- my fourth Harry Potter fic, and my first sole James/OC fic

“I trust all went well?” he asked. His voice was smooth and velvety; he was obviously a smooth charmer and was used to getting his way. The man in turn bowed his head respectfully.

“Yes, my lord,” he answered, in his British accent. “The prince is gone and the throne is ready for your taking,” he added and the lord grinned in obvious delight.

“Excellent Elijah; you have done well. I predict a handsome reward in your future,” he smirked and Elijah’s face broke out into a relieved smile.

“Thank you my lord! You won’t regret it my lord!” he gasped and the lord nodded his head thoughtfully. Money was always the best way to a henchman’s heart. “My lord?” he asked suddenly and the man turned towards him, his face illuminated by the silver moonlight. His skin tone was a shade lighter from tan and his raven black hair was lying in a splayed mop on top of his head, the celestial rays bringing out the silver flecks. His eyes were a menacing golden auburn and his body stature was firm and a bit on the bulky side. His face was a bit rotund, only because of some lingering baby fat that he had never outgrown.

“Yes, Elijah? Is something the matter?” he asked, quirking an eyebrow. If one did not know him as well as Elijah himself did, one would think that it was an innocent gesture; though Elijah knew better. He was mildly irritated and his lips had been pursed into a thin straight menacing line. Elijah audibly gulped as he processed his lord’s lashing expression.

“P-pardon me m-my lord... But what should happen if the prince comes back?” he stuttered, clearly frightened. The lord’s golden eyes, that eerily resembled that of a jungle cat, flashed towards his and his once pursed lips had evolved into a scowl. The lord took a menacing step forward, causing poor Elijah’s heart to kick into overdrive. His breath hitched as the lord looked him over, possibly trying to figure out the best way to hut him. Elijah whimpered; he was terrified, that much was given. But he was the lord’s right wing man, and surely that meant something to the surly man standing in front of him.

“Are you saying, after years of precise preparation,” he began, every ‘p’ he uttered sending out a spray of spittle, “that these incompetent men have messed up and the prince has a chance of coming back?”

“N-no my lord!” Elijah gasped, his eyes wide. “J-just a thought m-my lord,” he muttered and turned away. “I shall be on my way, my lord,” he whimpered once more before scampering away. The lord chuckled as he watched his right wing man, his most trusted advisor, run away from fear.

“Excellent....” he breathed; he was painfully aware that no one was near him to talk to, but that didn’t stop him. “All is going according to plan. Sleep, dear Hayden family,” he sneered, casting a fleeting glance at the huge castle once more. “Because when you wake up, you will face nothing but pure destruction and misery. I predict death in your future,” he chuckled ominously once more. “Yes....death and pain.... For soon, the Hayden royal family will no longer rule the kingdom for LaRousse. The Onii family will rule once more, or my name isn’t Lord Onii!” he cackled, and if one cared to look up, they would notice that dark clouds had started rolling in, covering the light of the moon. Slowly, bit by bit, Lord Onii’s face disappeared and all that was left was a cackling shadow.

Roses and Thorns Addict

Finally....after like months of writer's block, I'm back on writing Roses and Thorns again. I swear....I worked on it for like an hour. I'm also working on Poke Reunion and I'm working on High School Sweethearts along with Water Lust. As you can see, I'm a bit busy. I'm also aiming to work on The Lonely Girl Next Door. It's actually a bit hard to write because it's kind of like Hogwarts is in the real world, where the only big conflict is the player boyfriend cheating on his nerdy girlfriend. Not exactly that, but it's something like that. I'm trying to write a story where there is only a bit of action. It's kind of like an angst story but not really. It's more of a hurt/ comfort fic. It's really hard to write TLGND when I'm writing all these action stories at the same time. 

It's even funnier because I'm listening to the "When The Sun Goes Down" album by Selena Gomez and it's all inspirational and I'm trying to write like angsty stories. If you guys want the link: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?p=PL39751E557521E776

I'm Back To Blogging!!!

Hey guys, it's probably been ages since I've posted on this blog! But, I'm here to say that I'm back! I finished freshman year and I'm writing once more. My stories have been taking a more angsty turn and I'm trying to get back onto the gist of writing everyday. Also, I managed to pass freshman year....with grades that are mediocre! Do you know how amazing that is for me?! I honestly can not wait for sophmore year, knowing that my classes will be easier PLUS I'll actually like the classes that I'll be taking. Now onto the horrible excuses I've come up with for not posting.

First: High School, the most obvious reason. I've told you guys over and over again that I couldn't stand freshman year, especially biology and ESPECIALLY geometry. It turns out that on my online report card, geometry turned out to be the worst grade....but the grade I got is average, according to most schools. And apparently for honors, it gets weighted so my mediocre grade will still be mediocre...but just not as much. Biology if something I am totally done with and gave up on....so no Med School for me. I'm taking Chem next year and I can honestly say that I am pretty excited to take it because I want to major in pharmacy when I get to college and pharmacy is majorly based off of Chem. Anyway, getting back on topic, it's summer so now I have a lot of free time to write.

Though now this free time is ruined because of volunteering work and SAT work and PSAT work and Algebra II work and Chem work....damn, is there anything else? Even though it's summer, I'm aiming to boost my GPA so I have honestly got to start working hard this upcoming year. Now, summer....what am I going to do? Apparently I spend way too much time on the computer, according to my mom, so I have to....gasp, EXERCISE xDD Anyways, when I'm not working, writing, or watching television, I'm exercising because I gained too much weight this year and I want to reduce it >.< 

Alas, I though my guilty pleasures ended...but I've managed to find a new one....The Vampire Diaries. Yes, I said it; CW chick-flicky The Vampire Diaries, based off of the books by L.J Smith, one of my all-time favorite authors. There is honestly just something about shirtless Ian Somerhalder that really gets me wanting to watch the show over and over again; really. I've watched each episode like twenty times and I still tear up on the occasional scene. And is it my fault that I'm still addicted to vampires and witches? The plot for TVD is absolutely amazing and original; I would have never been able to think of something like that. Anyways, I've spent so much time watching the two seasons and reading bunches of fanfictions online, that I've barely been writing my own stories!


I have been writing, but it's mostly just for stories I haven't posted online yet. I do plan on posting new stories, but not just yet; I want to make sure they are good quality stories and not just rush to post them like I usually do, resulting in the chapters to be shitty and the overall story to be shitty. All the stories I have been reading are amazing quality and I'm trying to learn from them and come up with my own writing style. I honestly cannot wait to start posting again...so watch out!!

Oh Hai

Oh hai, my name is Deepika and I kind of made a promise to myself that I would try to post on this blog every day. Tch, look how peachy keen that turned out. I kind of got busy for like, 3 months and didn't bother posting on this wonderful blog when so much as has been going on. I've got so much news and I'm super excited.


For one thing, I'm on spring break, meaning I have plenty of more time to post stories and stuff. I've been working on like 5 stories at the same time, so I'm going as fast as I can with this stuff. I'm getting so much more inspiration and it's really making me happy because unlike other times of the year, I'm actually getting stuff done. And it's actually quality work. Isn't that surprising?


The second thing, is that I have a new guilty pleasure. Power Rangers...weird huh? A girl as old as me, into power rangers? Yea, well I really don't care. I happen to like it and writing about it is a lot of fun. I'm currently trying to watch all of the seasons so that's another reason why I haven't posting on this blog a lot. It's addictive, as I must admit. So addictive, that I stay up until 12:30 am watching it. Another guilty pleasure I have? Pokemon Black and White. There's just something about English dubbed Japanese shows that make me happy. Not to mention that I've been trying to play Pokemon Platinum on my DS.


The third reason why I'm not posting? Two words: High School. The dreaded two words of every person's life. No one likes going to school; but a place where we actually have to try to do good? Totally not my kind of place. I've had so much work dumped on me and this time, I'm trying hard. I feel oddly proud because I managed to scrape up an 80 on my geometry test which is a huge accomplishment for me! Yay! And then I've had essay after essay, lab after lab, and project after project. Not to mention the 4 hours of homework given to me on a daily basis. I'm also trying to find a place to volunteer for the summer and hopefully spring break. I seriously need hours and I need to pray that the people of Bayshore Hospital find my application.


Fourth reason? I've just been way too plain lazy. My laziness has grown over the past year, which is something that mildly worries me, since I've always been pretty lazy. I get tired though I have to force myself to stay awake, like I'm doing right now. Other times, I just crash and then find myself waking up in the morning and scrambling to get all my homework done. Not to mention studying for tests. Apart from all that, I'm trying to maintain a social life, which isn't working very well.


Anyway, I hope you all can forgive me for not posting on this blog. To make it up, however, I've posted some new stories on my fanfiction page so please check it out. Also, I"m working on new stories and working to update all my other stories, so look out for that. I suppose that's it for now.

Update!

Hey guys! .....let's pretend it hasn't been 11 days since I lasted posted on this blog, ok? Hem, anyway, I just wanted to post because I have quite a few updates I wanted to talk about. 

First and foremost, my midterms have finally started. Here in the states, we got about 14 inches of snow and school was canceled and midterms were postponed. So what was supposed to have started on the 22nd of January actually started on the 28th of January. Now yesterday was easy because I had a Spanish midterm, and I've always been pretty good in Spanish. But on Monday, I have a bio midterm and on Tuesday, I have a geometry midterm; and those are two of my worst subjects. So now I'm going to study my ass off for both of them, so please don't expect any updates.

Second of all, I was writing yesterday, since I was taking a break, and I finished a chapter of Roses and Thorns, only to find that I only got 1 review on the story and like 29 hits? I'm not going to lie; I was really disappointed because the two "prequels" of sorts got tons of more reviews and hits. But besides that, I know I shouldn't be complaining because I worked hard on those stories. Not that I'm not working hard on this one, but I guess I just have to give it more time. 

As for my other stories, I'm working on those too. Lonely Girl Next Door is one of them, which I posted the first real chapter. I was rewriting some of the parts because I looked over it a few weeks ago, and noticed that my writing style has changed. So, I spent a few days fixing it up to fit my writing style. Not to mention that I' trying to make these chapters longer. Because of school, I'm trying to practice my writing on here so I can get a better grade. I have a B+ in English, but I want to do better in that class. 

Lastly, there's a poll on this page, for a new pokemon story, so please vote if you haven't. I honestly don't know if anyone really reads this, but I hope that if they do, that they will vote on this. I've posted one new story, Those High School Sweethearts, just for the hell of it. That doesn't really count. So please do that if you haven't.

Ipod Fixed/ New Story Ideas

So at this very moment, I'm working on a contestshipping one-shot, which, to my delight, is major angst. You can never get enough angst ;) Anyway, updates might be slow because in two weeks, midterms start. Well, next week's updates will be slow. I'm going to post as much as I can since Monday is MLK day and I have no school! I feel accomplished since there's been one vote on my poll and I'm pretty sure no one reads it, so kuddos to me! Now, in other news, I have a few more story ideas. Let's see how they turn out. I'll post something if I feel it's newsworthy. 



Now to my delight, my Ipod touch has been fixed! Well, I'm kind of angry that I have to re-enter all my music, but at least all the apps and notes are there =D Now that that's out of the way, I can get more one-shots out and perhaps a few more updates. Well, I suppose that's it. I was hoping that this update would be longer since I didn't post yesterday. I was going to work on my stories but I watched tv and went to the mall instead. And then I got caught up eating dinner and watching this murder mystery thing and well....it was midnight before I knew it and I had to go to sleep. I was going to post?

Hehe hi everyone :) so I've been working on this epic icon for myself. I like it....and it's awesome! Anyways, there's really nothing to update. I'm just trying to get through the days, waiting for Friday to come...which is tomorrow but it seems like an eternity away! INSPIRATION/ Name Change

I've been inspired! Well, mostly by Rolyn and her story Misguided Love/ Misguided Interpretation. Those are two amazing stories, and it'll sort of be like it, only it won't! Anyways, it's my first Ikarishipping story. It'll be AU and it'll have a few OCs and include Ikarishipping, Egoshipping, Contestshipping, and my own shipping Reboundshipping, which is AshxLeaf. Yea, I'm clever. Anyway, that story will be put up soon.

On another note, I've changed my name to RoseOfDeath. Don't worry, I'll still be writing my stories, I just wanted a name change. I love how it sounds angst and yet shows off my love for Pokemon -cough Drew cough-. Well yea, that's pretty much it. I"m working on an icon for my name so I'll be busy. Getting My Ipod Fixed/ Nothing New To Say

So my ipod touch hasn't been working for like, a week, and I'm practically dying! So my dad got the Apple appointment and we're getting it fixed today ☺That means more writing cause I do a lot of my writing on my Ipod. Not to mention more inspiration since a lot of my one-shots come from my music.

I'm still working on the stories, don't worry. But nothing new yet :( But I promise I'll try to get something out either today or tomorrow!!

No New Updates

I just wanted to keep up my streak and update, even though it'll only be a few sentences. I have slight writer's block for Poke Reunion but I'll try to get that out as soon as I can. It'll mostly be about Dawn and May's friendship along with some Ego love and some Contest love, if you get my drift ;) << no guys! not that kind of love xD Anyway, the new series is still undecided. If you haven't already, check out my polls! Even though I'm sure no one reads this blog....

The sequel to Broken Hearts And Promises, Roses and Thorns, will possibly be out tomorrow. I really  don't know. The Lonely Girl Next Door is being re-written. It has the same plot and everything but something doesn't feel right with that story. Maybe I'll do another James and Elizabeth story after Roses and Thorns? Or maybe a Rose and Scorpius? Who knows :)

Quick Update

Hey guys! Keeping up the 2011 streak with posting everyday ☺ So I put up a new poll on my fanfiction page so if you haven't seen the poll, or my page, for that matter, please, please, please go check it out! The link is always at the end of my posts. I just wasted the whole day trying to write shit, but nothing came...I had a few ideas, but nothing concrete, so don't expect any one-shots for a while.

On the bright side, I have the same number of review on Broken Hearts and Promises as on the Hogwarts Cupid! That made me happy, seeing as how faithful and loyal my readers were. I am extremely thankful because I had been going through some hard times, and it made me happy that people could understand and give me some personal space. And for sticking with me and bearing through it just like me. I really shouldn't be on, but my parents are making an exception this time. I should really be studying for midterms, which brings me to my next issue.

As some of you know, I have midterms coming up. I'm a freshman in high school so this is my first time taking them, and I'm extremely nervous. These midterms count as 10% of my final grade, and to me, my grade and GPA are very important. I have finals too, but those aren't until June. Then I'm home free (xD)! I'm sure I'm boring you with all this information, but I just wanted to warn you that I definitely won't be posting for a while when those come up in the 3rd week of January (I think). A lot of them actually aren't until the 18th or week of the 28th so I guess I'll post as much as I can, both on YouTube and on FF.

Crap I'm In Trouble/ Updates

Hahaha I should have been posting shouldn't I? Anyway, hope you guys had a happy holiday! Oh and a happy new year :) My new year pretty much sucks already since I got a terrible grade...but that's besides the point xD Anyway, I had absolutely no homework today, but spent the day going over the test that I got the horrible grade on. Seeing as how I haven't posted for over a month or so, I should probably update you guys.

I finally finished Broken Hearts and Promises. Not like, finished typing, but finished posting all the chapters online. Here's the complete story:
Broken Hearts and Promises

Since I am done with that story, I am going to be starting a few new stories, to ring in the New Years :) Most of these include Pokemon, but there is also the continuation of The Lonely Girl Next Door, which is my other Jalizabeth story and the sequel to BHAP, called Roses and Thorns. Needless to say, it was kind of inspired by one of my most loyal readers, RosesAmongstThorns. I might just try to finish up my Warriors story just so I have that out of the way. I also plan to start writing the sequel to Give Love A Try.

Tomorrow is Friday, which means I will be posting the first chapter of one of my new Pokemon stories and/or the next chapter of Poke Reunion. The choices are either Trouble In Paradise, Pokemon Rangers: Guardian of Three, or that Fateful Night. 2 Egoshippings/ Contestshipping and one ObliviaRangerShipping <-- that's a new shipping I made up which is between the male (Ben if you're not playing as a male) and the female (which is me =D) Here's a little summary of each:

Trouble In Paradise- Misty, May, Drew, Dawn, and Ash all go on vacation to a wonderful paradise where they are surprised to meet up with their old friend Gary Oak. Looks like paradise isn't so relaxing anymore... (Egoshipping/ Contestshipping/ PearlShippping)

That Fateful Night- After an intense welcoming back, Misty is pregnant with Ash's baby. Ash leaves Misty to go travel to the Ishuu region and Gary helps Misty go through her pregnancy. (Egoshipping/ Contestshipping)

Pokemon Rangers: Guardian of Three- Ben and Isabella (me as an OC) are once again faced with a challenge when the Pokemon Pinchers and Purple Eyes threaten to destroy the balance of the world with Uxie, Azelf, and Mesperit. It's up to Ben and Isabella to save the day again, but will they find romance in the process? (RangerShipping)

So that's pretty much it for the new stories I have in mind. I'm definitely going to post Roses and Thorns this month, I just don't know when. Maybe when I get at least the second chapter done. My goal for this story is to make each chapter longer, more descriptive, yet still entertaining to read. So that's my little update. Night everyone!
